It, known as Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves on Dreamcast, is a 1999 fighting game produced by SNK, originally for the Neo Geo system and part of the Fatal Fury series. It is known for pushing the graphical capabilities of the Neo Geo, and their balanced roster of characters and highly technical gameplay.

Ten years after the death crime lord Geese Howard, the city of Southtown has become more peaceful to take what is known as the Second City of the South (Previously had been corrupted by Geese). A new fighting tournament called “King of Fighters: Maximum Mayhem” starts in the area, and several characters related to the fighters of the previous King of Fighters tournaments participate.

The system of two planes in which the characters would fight from two different planes was removed from play. The game introduces the “Tactical Offense Position” (TOP), which is a special area in the life meter. When the gauge reaches this area, the character enters the TOP mode, granting the player character the ability to use TOP attack, gradual life recovery, and increased attack damage. The game also introduces the “Just Defend” which rewards players successfully blocking an attack at the last moment with a small amount of health recovery and ability to counterattack immediately block stun system. (Only Defender was later added as a feature of K-Groove in Capcom vs SNK Capcom 2.) As in previous titles, players are given a fighting rank after every round. If players manage to win all the races in Arcade mode with a range of at least “AAA”, the player will face the boss Kain R. Heinlein, which opens once a final defeat him. If the requirements are not met, then Grant will be the final boss and there will be a special finish. In addition, through the Arcade mode, before facing Grant, the player will face a mid-boss which can be any character cast depending on the character that the player uses.

How to Play the Game?

After downloading the game file, extract it and run WinKawaks file. After that go to File and select Load Game. Now click on “Rescan all” from right side of the console.
